No. We are an independent platform that helps you prepare your return. You still file it with the IRS — we generate IRS-format PDFs you can mail or e-file through an authorized provider.

What tax year do you support? +

We support tax year 2025 (returns filed in 2026). Prior years are read-only.

Do you support all 50 states? +

Yes. Federal calculation is exact; state calculation is provided as an estimator and lets a CPA finalize.

When do I pay? +

You build the entire return for free. You only pay (one time) when you download the finished PDF.

Is my data secure? +

Yes. Data is encrypted at rest, sessions are protected, and you can enable two-factor authentication.
